Seventeen area players earn all-state football honors
Newton placed two players on the class 3A all-state football team.  Newton rushed for a 3A-high 3,105 yards this past season. The Cardinals also scored 38 rushing TDs, which ranked second in 3A, and was sixth in total yards with 3,830.  Click Here ...

Newton High’s girls qualified in five events for the Class 4A competition at the state track meet.
